Welcome to my new website!

WELCOME TO MY NEW WEBSITE , INDEED ! { The pic is from " Chianti " , Beverly , Ma , FYI } . A ' look over the shoulder ' to start with ; as well as a most enjoyable start to the year @ the "NAMM " show in LA in Jan' , & another excellent UK tour with " Feast of Fiddles " in April , August '17 found me in the UK as a guest of " Fairport Convention " . The band celebrated their 50th anniversary in front of 20k+ people over three days at their annual " Cropredy Festival ", which is just outside Banbury in Oxfordshire . During said festival , I also guested with Richard Thompson , The Albion Band - & I also played a set with " Feast of Fiddles ". The three-plus hour "FC" set on the saturday evening was quite something ... my heartfelt thanks to the band & everyone associated with them for making me feel so at home . Btw , look out for " Feast .. " on their 25th Anniv' tour this April in the UK - the dates are on theirs & my site . Early this year , { '18 } , a good time was had again at the Jan' "NAMM" show - t'was wonderful to hang out with my chum Jon Mover .. & the show was preceded by a Masterclass / Clinic at San Diego's "Studio West" facility .. kudos to owner Peter Dyson for hosting the event . Closer to home, the rest of '17 was full with a lot of 'live' dates & a fair amount of recording sessions ... & '18 is off to a similar start . Look for CD releases / downloads from - among others - Shellye Valauskas , Jen Cass , The Marconis , Didi Stewart , Dave Howland , Alexa Holland & Cassandre McKinley . Of course I'm biased , but the new "KBMG - 'Live' at Chianti" CD is rather splendid { as is the most recent "Feast of Fiddles" - ' Sleight of Elbow ' } - & I hope those of you in the New England region who've yet to check KBMG out will do so soon . Though I'm somewhat remiss about keeping this page up-to-date { something I'll endeavor to improve } , I DO stay on top of the 'live' dates page , so please check that out on a regular basis if you're of the ' live music persuasion ' .
